An article, a PDF, or a video with subtitles.

Click the icon. The text is sent only at that moment, and only for that page.
3

A short summary appears right on the page, in the language you chose.
Works on
Web pages
Articles, blogs, documentation, newsletters.
PDF documents
Online, or a file on your disk opened in the browser.
Videos
YouTube and any video with subtitles. With Premium, also videos without subtitles, from the audio.
What happens to your data
- The text of the page — or the subtitles, the PDF text, or for Premium the audio — is sent to our servers and to OpenAI only when you press Summarize. Nothing is read in the background.
- A copy of the result is kept for up to 24 hours to avoid repeating the same work. Video transcripts are deleted within 24 hours. PDF files are not stored.
- Usage statistics keep only the site domain — never the full address, the page title or your email — for at most 13 months.
- Your data is never sold. You sign in with your Google account.
